An after Valentine celebration - free printable love cards
Hello everybody,
after I had my computer down finally Santa brought me a new one and I'm back on blogging... even if I'm struggling with time.
Organizing a new life... with 2 children was not easy but I'm so much happier. What I was following was the right way with the wrong person and the hardest was to accept this mistake.
2015 taught me that Love can make you blind and follow something that was wrong for you. Well, it took me many years but finally I discovered the real meaning, in all its forms.
Love for your children, for your man and for all your friends... I discovered how nice it is to be loved and to work together for something you believe in.
So I decided to celebrate Love with a card that could express my feeling where love is so different but so similar everywhere.
So why not to do it just after Valentine's Day? I decided to post this later as love should be celebrated all the time and not only the 14th Feb.
I made different versions to suit all of you... I hope... Just click on the right tab and save the image and print it in the format you prefer.
Which one do you prefer? I turned them into postcards and I think they look so cute. You can easily do it for free from a lot of applications or with Word.
I hope you liked them.
Ciao,
Jess
p.s. feel free to use and share them but please always refer to my website. I didn't add any logo on them for you to use as you wish but I spent time on working on them so please consider this before posting them as your own.

Turn a magazine into a Christmas paper tree -my Tutorial
Hello dear readers,
I'm still alive... very busy but I can never forget to update my blog when I can because I will never stop creating and inspiring myself and most of all sharing it with people that appreciate it.
With this cold weather and with all the travelling, I ended up with a pile of magazines so this is what I did, not to waste them after a good reading.
It's so fun and easy to make trees out of them. I hope my tutorial will inspire you to make better ones. Mine was done in less than an hour with just things I could find at home.
A paint finish, glitters and nicer ribbons could turn then into real beauties that could be given as presents or sold at local markets...so no more talking and let's start:

Halloween candy bags - make your own
A bit late, but I wanted to show you how we made our candy bags this year.
We are having so many kids over that we decide to prepare bags to avoid candy fighting.
First thing, we decorated the entrance door... it can't be permanent as we share that part of it with neighbours ...so I decided to ask the kids to created their own scary sign on a blackboard and add extra easy decorations...
To do so, I used great liquid chalk markers from Chalkola.com
The colours are so vibrant and the kids basically spent half an hours trying them and drawing before the final design.. even my little 3yrs old. The photo is very dark but it was done at night. I hope you can see my little artists drawings.
After, we sat at the table and started our scary bags:

Lovely money or seed envelope - free printable
Hello, this is another time of the year that I love.
Everyone in my opinion deserve to be loved! and love must be shared otherwise you'll end up regretting it. I'm constantly looking for the meaning of it especially I wonder what's behind a couple. Well, I don't know... what I know is the meaning of love for your family and children. What would be life without them?
This is probably not the best time for me to talk about it but I don't give up, Love is here and I know, just in different forms than you expect.
Well, to celebrate it, I've created this little envelope as it's the right time to start planting some seeds and watch them grow.
My envelopes will have Basil seeds in it as the smell of it on my balcony is divine.
Feel free to print them and give them to who you want.
At the front I left some blank areas so you can write what's in it. I'm thinking to create a tag too so you can add some instructions. What do you think?
Well, HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY, dear friends!

Christmas inspiration from the web - table setting
Good afternoon everybody,
I'm sorry about my long silence but it's not the best Christmas this year, some sadness around that took my creative mood away but it's not gone forever...I'm just waiting for my happiness to come back so I can share it with the world as it's contagious.
Instead, I went around looking for some great table settings for you and my favorite is this one, especially for those with children like me or those who doesn't want to grow up :-) like me too.
I found it on Simply Sweet Soirees so pop over there for more eye candies!
Have a great week end!
Jess

Custom order for Tizy
Aren't they lovely?
She sent me this great photo as of course I forgot to take it before I shipped them and even if they have been used and used, they still look great! She chose this combination and it looks so cool despite the fact I had to adjust because they weren't PINK. :-)
Thank you again for challenging me! I love it.

House keys revamp tutorial: 10 mins including a manicure
How many times did you spend time looking for the right key? Well, with this veeeeeery quick tutorial this problem will be long gone.
All you need is paper tape, nail polish (I used KIKO ones than are cheap but have great colours) and 10 mins of your time.
I recommend to varnish with transparent nail polish at the end for a long lasting effect but it's not necessary at all.
and while you wait for them to dry....you have plenty of time for a manicure to spoil yourself a little bit. Crafty hands can be chic too...( even if covered with craft glue :-) )
I hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. (WE because those little hands painting are my son's...so easy that a 6 years old could do it)
Happy Sunday!
J

Rubber band bracelets tutorial
Good morning,
I don't know where you live but here in Italy rubber bands bracelets are everywhere. TV ads are marketing them every hour and my son Nicky likes them too. His grandparents gave him some fluorescent rubber bands but he doesn't know what to do with them as they show how to do them using a machine. So here I am, a crafty mummy searching the net to find an easy tutorial to impress her son :-).
Here what I found simply using 2 pencil. Yuppie!
thank you craft & creativity for this great tutorial and a lot more.
Enjoy!
Jess

Make your own Crayons tutorial
Dear all,
finally I managed to post this simple but fun tutorial. We used it for Nicky's Birthday Party Favours and it was a success.
So from now on, recycle your old crayons and give them a fun new life. Even if you have small parts, you can mix and match them to have great results. We did some girly and some just for boys but none turned out boring.
This is what we did, a nice bag (found here), some stickers, crayons of course and a bag topper.

A note on this part: you can use the oven or the microwave if you are in a hurry. Please never leave them unattended as they can over-melt, creating not only a mess (spillage hard to clean) but also bubbles on the surface (and this is not that nice on the final result)
Be careful when extracting as it's very hot. ONLY adults should do it.
